|
In 1997, Bishop Andrew and Mattie Whaley had a desire to serve the community and provide for families because of the need shown in the churches, birthed the Love-N-Action pantry. A year after the pantry was established, they partnered with CAIN (Churches Active in Northside) and was able to serve many families within the Northside area. In 2007, Love-N-Action moved to Mt. Healthy community alongside with ETAC ministries. In 2015, Love-N-Action pantry came under new leadership and established a new partnership with Freestore Foodbank, which led to the ability to expand and serve the growing needs of the families in the local Mt. Healthy and the Greater Cincinnati area. In 2020, Love N Action incorporated and merged with Laundry Love Cincinnati and grew capacity to be able to focus on the holistic approach to meeting the needs in the community.
